SAFTR (far left) at Ghallah taken from the new ‘black top’ road built late ’75 which linked to the Seeb – Muscat road. The camp, training areas and ranges had a beautiful backdrop of the Jebel Sharqee. Construction development was underway in 1976 for a new HQ SOAF in the central area of the picture.
