The Omani men shown here were always excellent hosts and guides when visiting the Saiq area. There was wonderful hospitality, ‘cahwha’ or ‘chi’ and fresh fruit e.g. bananas,melons, pomegranites, oranges, figs. One of them worked on the Sayq ranges and SAFTR provided them with wicker sacks of ripe dates from Ghallah.
